Documents bearing a Hague apostille issued by Spain are entitled to recognition in any other country of the Convention without further certification. The United States, Spain and Andorra are parties to this Convention. U.S. federal courts and state agencies should accept documents with the Hague Apostille. For private transactions, please first check with the other party to make sure they accept notarization in the Spanish system. Please note that remote notarial services can only be provided in accordance with the laws and regulations of the U.S. state that appointed the notary and the laws of the state or country in which the document is notarized. The U.S.
Embassy in Ankara and the consulates in Istanbul and Adana are not allowed to authenticate Turkish official documents. To get authentication, you can go to the governor`s office and get an apostille certificate. You must have your document translated into English by a sworn translator and notarized by the Turkish notary before bringing it to the apostille certification. Apostille certificates (documents that have the Hague Special Certificate of Legalization) are acceptable in all countries where the Hague Treaty is in force (including Turkey and the United States) without the need to certify it by another authority. Certified copies of documents for use with Social Security applications, FBU Manila – Mail-in Service is available. Notarial services are only available by appointment. If you urgently need something notarized, you should consider a Spanish notarial service. Spanish certifications are acceptable and recognized for use in the United States in accordance with the Hague Convention on the Abolition of the Obligation to Legalize Foreign Public Documents (Hague Convention). With the exception of the affidavit of marital status, we only certify documents to be submitted to the United States. We cannot provide notarial services in case of emergency or without an appointment, and you must bring all the documents that are properly prepared for the notary to sign.
The U.S. Embassy, Consulates, and Consular Officer may only provide notarized services related to yachts, boats, and other craft if the officer provides U.S. correspondence. Coast Guard Commercial Vessel Compliance Office (CG-CVC), which states that the notarization of such certification of the requested document is appropriate. The certification fee is $50 for each notarized document. All consular fees are payable in US dollars or Vietnamese dong in cash or with the following debit/credit cards in US dollars: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We cannot accept cheques. Documents of non-U.S. citizens originating in the United States or intended for use in the United States may also be notarized. For the notarial certificate, you will be asked to bring your passport or other government-issued photo ID to identify yourself.
Please complete your documents in full, without missing pages, compiled and prepared for notarization. The embassy or consulate cannot compile your documents for you or provide legal advice on how to prepare them. If your documents are not ready to be signed, you may be asked to make a new appointment.
