The LRC is managed by the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Your donations are essential to ensure that we can provide quality legal services. A donation of at least $10 is required. We provide free legal aid to eligible low-income individuals or families (our top priority is those with an income of 200% FPL and under), people with disabilities, people over the age of 60, and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, human trafficking, or other abuse residing in Santa Barbara County. Self-help is offered to complete legal and judicial paperwork for various civil cases and violations, as well as to properly present your case to the court. We offer a free consultation with a family law lawyer by appointment only on Wednesdays at 3pm for those who are eligible for our services; subject to availability.
